This week we went to the Stillwater Lodge at Jordanelle. There were 109 family members that came to the reunion, a RECORD! We had a great time visiting, playing, swimming, and eating… all with very little sleep!
The whole reunion, CJ always wanted to be somewhere else. If we were at the Lodge, he wanted to be at our condo. If we were at the condo, he wanted to be at the Lodge, although he called it “the village.”
One of the activities was learning about our GGG Grandma Paulina Phelps Lyman, who was married to Amasa Lyman. She was a nurse practitioner in Parowan after the saints came west. The kids got to put together a skeleton to learn all about our bodies, then they got to doctor each other up with bandages and paint sticks. It was one of the highlights of the trips, the kids LOVED it!
We spent part of a day at Jordanelle reservoir, but it was windy and pretty cold, so we didn’t do much swimming there. The beach was really rocky, and the bottom of the reservoir was really mucky clay. Not our favorite beach we decided.

The kids loved swimming in the pool and using Grandpa Rick’s underwater camera. They are all really doing a much better with swimming, and it is fun to see them be confident. Karalee bought the kids snorkels and masks, which were awesome! They loved them!
We had a talent show, where Taylor did some tumbling, and Kaitlyn did a little too.
We also went to the Olympic Park. We watched the skiers jump off the jumps into the pools, which was awesome. Then we got to ride the Alpine Slide, and Casey & I and my Mom & Josh went on the Zip Line. AWESOME DAY!

That looked like an awesome week! I really like the picture of you and Casey!
Hello. Just cruising the Internet to determine the proper pronounciation of Paulina Lyman. She is my great-great grand mother through her son Charles Rich, his son Clark, and his son (my father) Wayne. I have always pronounced her name : Paul-IIIna with a long I. Not until recently did I hear it otherwise: Paul-EEEna.
just curious.
