The pictures really say it all. On Tuesday morning our little Kaitlyn decided she wanted a new do. She cut off one of her little pig tails, and gave herself some nice 80's steps on the right side of her hair. She has thick hair, and I couldn't believe how much hair was on the floor. Luckily I had a hair appointment that very day, and took her with me. Not much you can do to fix the steps, but at least there are some longer pieces that can somewhat cover it up. She of course was indifferent to it all. It is probably hard for a 2 year old to understand that what she did was VERY wrong when Mom whips out the camera for some photos! What can I say... I think every family has at least one of these "haircuts" I know our family has had one. Gotta love it.
Love it!! We better not let her and Alyssa near each other with a pair of scissors!! Did you have to cut the rest of her hair as well?
She really was just experimenting. She is what you call a "hands on" kind of girl. Way better than when Madeline cut off her bangs.
Uh oh. Leah did this about 6 months ago and had the 80's steps in her hair too. I had to cut her hair real short. Then she proceeded that evening to cut it again. I guess I didn't make enough of an impact the first time. Now it is finally grown out to the point of being able to put it in ponytails. You should post the after photo of her new haircut.
